Why did you decide to enter your field?

I chose this field to focus on advancing knowledge through research. Shoulder and elbow–related topics particularly interest me due to their complexity and the opportunity they offer for in-depth scientific exploration. I aim to improve my expertise by studying scientific articles and collaborating with high-quality research groups, while also building on and contributing my own research experience in this area.

Who/What inspires you?

I am inspired by leading researchers and high-quality scientific work in the field of shoulder and elbow studies. Reading impactful articles and observing how research can advance knowledge motivates me to continue learning, gathering information, and contributing to scientific progress in this area. My daughter, who reminds me to stay curious and appreciate learning, and my wife, whose support and guidance play a crucial role in everything I do.

The most interesting article you’ve read recently?

The most interesting article I’ve read recently was about the relationship between scapular morphology in patients with shoulder osteoarthritis.

Your favorite book and why?

‍Books on shoulder and elbow surgery are my favorite, as they provide detailed knowledge and practical guidance directly relevant to my clinical practice and research. In addition, I am currently reading Finnish story books at an intermediate level on a regular basis to improve my Finnish language skills while enjoying stories.
