FICEBO – Finnish Centre for Evidence-Based Orthopaedics

Our vision is that only practices that are scientifically proven effective should be offered to patients. We believe that this will lead to a more sustainable healthcare system that best serves our patients and the society at large.

The origins of FICEBO date back to 2002, when the FIDELITY and FIMPACT trials were conceived. FICEBO was officially established in 2014 and today our core group consists of almost 30 healthcare professionals committed to assessing the viability of current medical practices in musculoskeletal conditions.

FICEBO operations are carried out under the auspices of the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Hospital.
