Who are you?
I’m a research assistant of 5 years for the FICEBO team and a fourth-year student at the University of Tampere majoring in statistical data-analysis with a minor in public health.
What is your role in FICEBO?
My job consists of mainly digital work & data. Right now I’m in charge of updating and maintaining our website and working with online data collecting tools such as REDCap.
Favorite part of your job?
The flexibility and variety of it, learning new things all the time and getting the experiences that many other jobs probably wouldn’t offer.
Why did you decide to enter your field?
I don’t necessarily feel like I’ve entered a specific field yet but on the path I’m on, I ended up through trial and error.
Who/What inspires you?
I’m inspired by successful and passionate young women every day. I think the online community is so important, seeing other people’s relatable struggles and accomplishments through social media really inspires me to work harder on becoming the person I want to be.
