Physiotherapist, Clinical research coordinator

Role in FICEBO:

I am working as a clinical research coordinator in Central Hospital of Central Finland. Now I’m planning online data collection proses for Fintasy, in future helping with fidelity controls and taking care of practical arrangement in few other handsurgery studies.

Who are you?

I am a physiotherapist specialized in orthopaedic manual therapy (OMT) and a Master’s student in Jyväskylä university faculty of sport and health sciences. My heart belongs to my dogs, endurance sports, nature and motorbikes.

Favorite part of your job?

I enjoy working with different things and people, both colleagues and patients. I learn new things every day and hope to achieve something that matters in bigger picture.

Why did you decide to enter your field?

I am following a path of choices that seem right, but I’m not sure where I will end up.

Who/What inspires you?

Problem solving, learning, and getting things done.

The most interesting article you’ve read recently?

Most recently my reading has been about the thumb because of my master’s thesis. I hope to get soon to sports psychology and things affecting to human motivation. Thumbs up!

Your favorite book and why?

Rajoilla – Eva Wahlström for many reasons: I’m a big fan of martial arts, strong, positive and hardworking people with diverse talents.
